Being an E2, the only time I've worn my ASU's was for OSUT graduation, if any of you guys would give me tips or advice or even pictures on how to properly set up my ASU's, that would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

PV2 (Join to see), good for you for having the guts to ask, the intestinal fortitude to seek guidance and the personal courage to do so publicly so that you are prepared for your inspection! There are only two references you will need to set up your uniform and I will share a link to them both. Take your time setting up your uniform and be proud everytime you get to wear it!

I know my blue cord isnt on it. It's currently on my rearview mirror, but I looked at those links and I feel like I got it. Would you mind double checking, see if anything is off? Thanks!

Great Start, don't forget to check the references provided already...
From the picture:
1. Get the distinctive unit insignia and put one on each shoulder board work in accordance with the regulatory guidance.
2. Check your brass (U.S. and Crossed Rifles) - the U.S. looks to close to the outside edge; make sure you measure from the corner - 1 inch; cant it so it is on the same cut as your lapel/collar.
3. Wear the unit awarded unit awards while you are with this unit.
4. The nametage is too high, it should be centered between the top of the button and the top of the pocket flap, and also centered left to right.
5. Looks as though the individual awards are on correcdt (remember this is through a picture so the detail is not the greatest).
6. Marksmanship (Sharpshooter) badge - get some liquid brasso and use a toothbrush to clean off the funk and preservative that comes on the badge from the factory, you can make it bling with just a little effort! Once you get some multiple devices and awards, use the brasso on those as well so the oak leaf clusters bling.
You are not too far off PV2 (Join to see)!

Here is a link to some other items that might help. You can also find them at the clothing and sales store: http://www.mentormilitary.com/uniform-guides-and-tools-s/112.htm#
While these tools will speed the process up and make them very easy to look up and place on your uniform there is no replacement for knowing the specifics of the regulation and DAPAM CSM Uhlig shared.
Best of Luck!

I've always made it a point to to purchase the Sta-brite badges. A little brasso goes a very long way. And the Sta-brite badges pop and give a great presentation. As you progress in your career your juniors will look at your example for everything. Including the wear and presentation of dress blues. Pay attention to every detail and you can't go wrong. As CSM stated, be proud every time you wear them. Put the same pride into putting your blues together. Here's a visual of the positioning for the unit specific items. Your first line leader should be able to get you squared away with these items.

This is your NCOs job, however first off, make sure they are at the dry cleaners. Even if you get them back by Wednesday you will have time to put them together.
I don't have a photo, but 670-1 is a public regulation you can download. Cross rifles are on the left lapel and US on the right. Blue cord on the right shoulder. Unit crests on the shoulder, centered. Hope this helps a little bit.

It does! Already received from dry cleaners, blue cords good to go, ribbons are good to go. I never received unit crests though. But thanks!

I never received them either, you'll have to buy the from clothing and sales. Try to remember this small but simple rule: from top of the pocket to your head, the ribbons space is 1/8in, 1/4in, and 1/2in.
