NCOER Bullets for tough mudder volunteer and participation. Is their a way to make that a bullet I've heard a few people say yes but no one seems to really know. Has anyone used it.

Volunteering - Yes. Especially if you are volunteering for this and other "similar" events.
Participating Individually - Maybe. Using this with "other" events can show a "dedication" to fitness above and beyond the traditional Army Focus & Standards.
Participating with other service members, especially unit members - Sure, why not. Shows teamwork. Shows dedication. Can potentially be used to reinforce other bullets.

I've used several of the civilian obstacle course races in fitness blocks on NCOERs in the past. It shows dedication outside of the required PT sessions.

I could see it being used either from a volunteering and participating in community activies way or as a physical fitness bullet, depending on how well they did.

Volunteering - sure you can use it.
Armywriter has a few examples that you could review and use as a base for your own bullet.

Did you organize it? Did you run a station? If so then I would put that in. But if you just participated then I wouldn't waste my time.

Participated as part of a Team of "all service members" as a team building exercise, sure, why not? Especially, if you spent a "season" training together for it.

The closest thing that I can think of is volunteering. But according to you you just participated. I wouldn't put that in. My thoughts.

SCPO David Lockwood Like anything on a FitRep, it's all about the phrasing. 90%+ of what is on one is "our job." It just looks more impressive because we put it on paper.
- Participated in TM event (not an appropriate bullet)
- Worked with other members of section & unit over course of 3 months designed to challenge their Physical Fitness Levels, and to build Esprit De Corps! (much better!)

I don't see why not. My CO used my men's league hockey team as a fitness multiplier
