"He has already touched so many lives, and we could not be more proud."
After reading this story about this remarkable mother and dad, and how they are as proud of their baby Jaxon as any parent would be. I wondered what if that was my child? How would I handle this? How would I react to public scrutiny about how my baby feels? Would I go viral about my baby's condition and why I feel the way I do? I'll never know, but I would hope I would be as courageous as these parents are.

Florida dad Brandon Buell knows the hardship and joy that come with raising a child with severe disabilities. His toddler son Jaxon was born with part of his skull and brain missing due to a rare condition called microhydranencephaly, but the resilient little guy has been inspiring people all around the world through his Facebook page, Jaxon Strong.

"In the first three weeks of Jaxon's life, when we were still with him in the NICU and there was so much uncertainty, the doctors would continuously prepare us for worst and to get ready to take Jaxon home simply for 'comfort care,'" Buell told The Huffington Post.

The human body is an incredible creation. I was in the WTB (where you go to heal if it takes more than 6 months)with a trooper who was missing such a large channel of his brain (small arms?) that it looked like you could lay your arm in his skull. He was walking around under his own power. Medical science has come so far that this little angel will be living a good life in no time. The one thing we need to work on is our ability to belittle and bully others. I'm not even going to speak of those who torture and murder for having belief in Christianity. They deserve no comment.

I sure hope and pray he lives long enough to have the surgery he needs to correct his disability. He deserves it and so does his mom and dad.

Amazing story, thanks for sharing SGT (Join to see).
Those blue gray eyes seem to be very penetrating. I hope as the young boy grows that he will have help from surgeons and that God will bless that boy and his family with an outpouring of love and human acceptance.

Hopefully they can 3rd print a skull for this little guy. They have been using 3rd printers to replace birth defect body parts for some time now.
