Just like the clasic Looney Tunes cartoons we grew up on. They are completely edited, all gun 'violence' edited out,.....never happened. Now, we sanitize the 70's shows. Keep your head buried in the sand America, deny anything and everything and rewrite history to suit the political flavor of the month. BTW, all the classical music I know of I learned from watching cartoons. Don't pretend you don't know what I mean...lol

Ok, we might be blowing this out of proportion. I understand why many people are in an uproar over the confederate flag and what it may stand for but why wasn't these issues brought up before? I'm not saying that I am for the confederate flag but I also know that a flag doesn't make people become racist and commit racist acts. People brought in generational society of racism teach and breed hatred from generation to another, its unfortunate that a symbol can be associated with such acts for so long. Since the civil war this flag and support has continued under philosophical, political, cultural and also racial differences. I suppose that elimination of the flag from usage throughout the country will be a positive step in the direction of no racial divide but what did the Dukes of Hazard ever do to anybody?

In my opinion the failure to lower the flag to half staff in light of the tragedy brought things to a fever pitch.
