Snowmageddon affected a large section of the east coast from North Carolina through New York. High winds on the coast and converging of two storms one form the Tennessee valley and the other off the coast delivered a lot of snow.
Please share pictures of how the snow affected you and your family. If you don't have pictures of this storm feel free to share pictures of past snow storms.
These pictures are from Saturday 23 January when the blizzard hit with full force and on the left the day after.

Snowmaggedon affected me a lot. My health conditions of impaired heart/lung capacity and stenosis of the lower spine made snow shoveling challenging. On Friday January 22 the snow was beginning to fall and the wind gusts got up to over 40 mph in eastern Loudoun County, VA. I was able to clear the driveway a couple times with breaks that day before the snow built up overnight.
Here are two pictures of the blizzard on the second day Saturday 23 January. The left picture is before I started to shovel that day. The picture of the right is of my shoveling when the wind was blocking back in forth which made tossing snow challenging. Thankfully on that day the snow was still generally light and fluffy. The next two pictures are of the day after the snow stopped when I was working on digging out the RAV4 SUV.

LTC Stephen F. No kidding, Steve. I thought you were talking about the Bobcat animal! ;)
What a nice and charitable man.
Try to stay positive; Steve. (I know: famous last words; huh?)
We all Love You and I Send You the Most Positive Prayers I can Send,
Margaret

CPT L S - since I got out of the Army in 2008, I have been growing my hair longer and donating a ponytail to locks of love to make a wig for a young cancer patient. I am working on donating my second one hopefully this spring. The first one took 5 years to grow and I sent 12 inches. I hope to send a similar amount this time. My friends and family in Michigan and on the East Coast are talking about snow storms. Meanwhile I'm riding my motorcycle to work every day in JANUARY! :)

PO1 John Miller - Stay safe on that motorcycle my friend. I hope drivers are much more courteous where you live than in the Washington, DC area.

Not really! I definitely have to "keep my head on a swivel" when out on the bike.

What I hated the most was attaching the seat belts in a car or touching anything else metal in the car.

MCPO Roger Collins, It will definitely leave blisters. In my truck I have a place my sunglasses go in. It flips down. One time, last year, the heat melted the frame on them.I put some insulation in and I'll try it out this summer.

Sgt Kelli Mays, I'm so happy for your parents. So, they are staying in San Antonio?
