Punched a hole through a major's hmmv windshield while at JRTC. after being on a sandbagging detail for over 12 hours in 95 degree heat and 1000% humidity, no breakfast, no lunch, only one MRE Beef enchilada, not my pick. we get back to the barracks and everyone has pizza and Burger King. DFAC was closed so we ask where is ours and they throw us MRE's. later on that night MFers drive us past Burger King on purpose just to rub it in, laugh and say "don't worry I didn't get extra cheese" on my Whopper. BAM! I punch the windshield. happened so fast no one saw it or heard it. Next day I get the nick name BK Brawler named after the the BK Broiler. to tell you the truth I liked the nick name. At first they thought I threw a rock at it because it was damaged so bad. And I said "Fuck NO! That punched that MFer!" they were speechless. lmao

I was stationed at FAAF just outside of Nurnberg w. Germany in 1988. I had purchased a german beer rack to store some paints for painting miniatures. We just got a new 1sgt, and he came through inspecting the rooms. He told me to get rid of the rack, and I explained what I was using it for. He did not care and stated I had to return it or throw it away. I then asked if I could store it since I paid for it. He got bent and told me to throw it away. I did not know what to do so I asked my shop supervisor (ssg) what I could do. He said he would talk to the 1sg and unitl then to put it in my locker until after the troop inspection. So I did, and I waited for the ssg to let me know the verdict. I was reluctant to throw the rack away simply because others had done the same thing and I was the only one ordered to throw mine away. Well the inspection passed and it went great, and after the inspection I took out the rack to paint some minis. Well the next morning during pt the 1sg went through the barracks and saw the rack. I had not had a chance to put it away from the night before. The next morning I was asked to report to the commanders office. I do so and see the xo and 1sg, I report and then am told I would be receiving an art 15 for disobeying a direct order. I was shocked and could not believe what was happening. I explained the entire situation to the xo. the xo asked me to step out and the 1sgt soon followed. The 1sgt told me to just accept the Art15 do the extra duty. I trusted him and went back in. I signed the paperwork and then was hit with a sledgehammer. I was given 30days extra duty, loss of some pay, and demoted to e3 from e4. I tried to tell the xo that I wanted to change my response to the art15, and his response was no you signed off on it. I was young dumb and gullable. I see that as a major turning point in my life and from that time on I trust no one. I found out later that 1sg Cheever had been known for paperwork punishment, and that if I had requested to speak with the CO before signing the art15 might not have been given or reduced in severity to extra duty only. Oh, and the ssg who was looking out for me trying to help me was nowhere to be found. I do not hate the Army for this, but I advise everyone going in to read everything before signing and ask for clarification of anything that seems off.

Called Captain's Mast in the Navy, I got 15 days restriction and extra duty for drunk and disorderly in the form of puking on the shoes of the JOOD after a long, choppy boat ride from the beach to the ship in Pattaya Beach, Thailand. I might not have been written up but after seeing the look on his face, I busted out laughing, so he busted me.

Pattaya Beach. lol Guess what submarine made it so you had to anchor out and take boat rides? Yeah. Used to be we would tie up to this piece of crap pier. But during a storm a certain submarine (one that I refuse to name to protect all of us on it lol) slammed into the pier once too many times and destroyed it. After sinking the bumpers. Emergency underway. I was on duty but Shore Patrol rounded up as many as they could find and had people standing watch who were a bunch of sheets to the wind.
