Seeing the SPC get a Company Grade for jumping with his fish is pretty high on the "awesome reason for an Article 15" list.... so what's you story?

Got drunk, slept off-post. Woke up late. Missed formation. Lied about the reasons. Company grade Art 15. Not awarded Good conduct medal at end of 3 year hitch. I shouldn't have lied, might have been OK.

I got One AR 15 in 23 years, now I'm not saying I didn't do things to get More, I just never got Caught. the one I got was for Being off Post in Fatigues, I had went off Post t pick up my Landry. When I came out MPs were waiting on me and gave me a DR. Who knows what that is? Well my Commander didn't want to but had to, but as I was already cleared to PCS to Germany he said he would send it to my Gaining Command. About 3 Months after I got to Germany 1st Sgt called me in and said "What the Fu$% is this, I told hem what had Happen . His response what "What Bull Shit. He Ripped it up and put it in File 13, and since all Copy's were attached in never mad it to my 201.

"Possession of contraband in a theatre of combat." My then wife sent me some "reminders of what was waiting for me back home" pictures. They were found and I got 15 days extra duty and 15 days reduced pay... But it was perfectly ok for the 1sg and CO to have wild turkey and JD in their hoochs. Got to love it.

Failing a barracks inspection while on exercise halfway across the country, by a full bird col! Ended up with 30 days CC, $100 fine, and 6 month hold on my promotion. All over an empty bag of Funions in my trashcan. Classic!

My friend and I blew up the Aviation barracks on Ft. Riley a few years ago. We were trying to make our own "concealment" grenades for Sgt time training. Well, at around midnight and with little patience left, I turned up the heat on the stove and all of this stuff went off. It was a small kitchen fire that scorched the range hood and set off the sprinkler. Obviously when CID arrests you, they don't like hearing the word smoke "bomb". We got compared to Timothy McVeigh a couple of times that week...

Never received an Art 15, I was put on charges twice. Both times as a Specialist. I had a Top Secret Clearence so any Art 15 would result in loss of my clearance. Requested trial by Courts Martial both times. Both times charges were dropped due to insufficient evidence or cause. First time for smoking role your own cigarettes MPs claimed it was dope. Beckson Dickenson's Field test came back negative. Pocket scrapings came back for tabacco. Both MPs were relieved for cause for knowingly pressing false charges. Second time I fell asleep while driving a 21/2 ton truck with 18 soldiers in back. Scared the shit out of me. I only had 4 hours sleep after my guard duty. Regulation calls for minimum Six hours sleep for drivers driving all day. Battery CDR orders me to continue driving. I refused claiming unlawful order due to lack of sufficient sleep. JAG prosecuter refused to take the case to Court Marshall due to unlawful order. Request for transfer to another unit due to prejudiced command element took more than six months. That Commander got about 10 pounds of my flesh for revenge. He should have got an Art 15 for prejudicial Command Tactics. I got three times more shit details than any other SPC in the Battery. Yet I was The COMSEC clerk and I was exempt from duty by BN SOP.

Disobeying a direct order. Long story short I got caught drinking under age and was ordered to 2 AA classes a week. I ditched them several times. End result was a General Discharge 2 years 2 months into a 3 year hitch. So gay.

I was stationed in California and went UA for 4 days and flew to Philadelphia to watch the Phillies win the world series in 2008... So worth it, ignoring everyone's phone calls... Had a great time and was still able to finish my contract and receive an honorable discharge

I was Air Force, so Art 15 was much more serious of an issue.. Nearly a career killer. The closest I came to getting one was in '79 when stationed at Luke AFB near Phoenix, Ariz. I lived on the second floor and right above me was this little weapons weanie who loved his stereo.. He had a home-made system with 6 and 9 inch speakers. My work week ran Wed thru Sunday. Every Friday and Saturday night this little, and I mean little, he stood about 5'6", I'm 6'3", jerk would blast his stereo so loud that the gate guards could hear it.

After weeks of complaining to him, the Dorm Chief, the Shirt, and even calling the SP's on him, I had had enough.

I went up to his room and knocked on the door, when he answered, I pulled him out in the hall and pushed him down it far enough that I could get in his room. Then I proceeded to put my fist through every one of his 12 speakers.

Then I went out in the hall, grabbed him by his shirt, took him out to the exterior stairwell, We're on the third floor, and hung him over the railing. He's holding on to my arms, I'm holding onto the front of his shirt. I tell him if I ever hear his stereo again I'll drop his sorry a$$ from there onto the concrete pad below.

An hour later I get a visit from the SP's. They ask me if I did the things the guy above claimed I did, I said yes and they shook their heads and left. The next morning I'm called to the Shirt's office. He asked me if I did what was claimed, again I say yes. He tells me that I have to replace the guy's speakers within 24 hours.. $600 dollars.. Quite a bit on a E-3 pay in 1979, about a month's pay. Then I have to report to his office as soon as I do it.

I get the speakers, give them to the little jerk, who is grinning like a damn Cheshire Cat, and again warn him that I better never hear them or I'll still drop his a$$ from the stairwell. Then I report back to the Shirt's office. He makes a call, and tells me to follow him back to the dorms. When I got there, the SP's were boxing up the guy's stereo system and loading them in their truck. The Shirt then tells the guy that he'll get it back when he PCS's and that he better not buy another system. Then it's back to the OR. There we go into the Exec's office where a LOA is waiting for my signature. The Shirt tells me to sign it, that it will go into his desk drawer and as long as I keep out of trouble for the rest of my tour there, that is where it will stay. But if I do anything like that again, it will come out and be upgraded to Art. 15 and Courts Martial. Two months later I get orders to Germany. Never so happy to leave a base.
