A right and privilege that all should participate in. Very irritating to hear those complaining about things federally and local when they haven’t exercised their civic duty. And yes your vote can make a difference! Remember you are voting from the top all the way down to your local government!

I heard a new twist on the "If you don't vote, you don't have the right to complain about who was elected".
Now it's, "If you don't vote, you don't have the right to complain how your candidate lost because of voting irregularities" (truly a bipartisan response to ones candidate losing a close election).

I knew I wasn't going to be able to make it to in person voting today, so I voted by mail-in a few weeks back. I wish more people really understood the importance of voting. It is the easiest way to do your part to ensure we do our best to ensure the most qualified leaders are in place.

COL Randall C. You better believe it! I was at the polls shortly after they opened and the line was very short. The voting is going on at the school next door to me and they are in the road waiting to get in for a parking place now. This will probably be a record turnout for a mid-term election.
