Yes I did in Thailand. It’s a long story and one that will be part of my memoirs that I am writing for my family. As I said, It’s a long story.

2 Weeks after I got married, while still on leave, my wife came home for lunch and said "what's wrong with your face?" to which I responded "#%^$& you" because she was a Marine to, and I thought she was screwing with me. About an hour later, I get up and look in the mirror, and realized that half my face wasn't working.

I called my SSgt to ask the number to sick call to make an appointment. About 15 minutes later he's at my front door dragging me up to the hospital because he thinks I had a stroke (it wasn't). My new wife (did I mention we had been married 2 weeks) is freaked out, because they call her from the emergency room.

Fun times!

Yes, I went to sick call. Was sitting waiting and a nurse walked by. She stopped and said you are in pain aren't you. In almost no time I was admitted and had some of the best hospital care I have ever had - and I have had more than my share.
