In Viet Nam the children had to hustle to survive. They travelled in groups and could rob you blind in a flash, and we couldn't really fight back. Individually they were just like kids anywhere, but in a pack they were something else. They reached into the commander's jeep at China Beach four corners and got the watch and sunglasses he was wearing.
