Did you know the full story of the assassination of President Lincoln?

I watched a movie The Conspirator. It is a great movie and it really told me a lot of information that I never knew about assassination of President Lincoln. I was never talk about the simultaneous assassination of Lincoln, Vice President Andrew Johnson and Secretary of State William H. Seward. I never heard of the Mary Surratt. Did you learn this or were you just taught about John Wilkes Booth?

I knew of it, but only because I had a REALLY GOOD history teacher. He made things interesting, providing details above & beyond the dates/events.

I knew this, but only through independent study born of personal interest in the Civil War. Why this was or is never mentioned in any of the history courses I took from elementary through college is baffling to me!

Absolutely LOVED this movie. I still don't see how she was convicted and hung. She was the first woman to be hung, isn't that correct?

In school it was all focused on Lincoln and not his cabinet. It barely scratched the surface. Killing Lincoln is a good read if you have time.
