I am thinking about getting a new one. I have had my old Paache H1 (single action) forever and I got a used Paache Millemium (double action) from another taxidermist that closed his shop. I was leaning towards a Badger Krome but after reading some of the reviews it sounds like there quality is questionable these days. Any suggestions? Good or ones to stay away from. Thanks in advance.

SPC Nancy Greene It's for my taxidermy work, Sister! Just looking for something that works a little better. The Paache's are OK but I can't get as fine of a line as I need sometime.

I haven't used one, in years. I used to use one to touch up the paint on old electronics. I worked mostly with wrinkle and hammertone paints, but I sometimes needed to touch u lines or lettering that was worn or scraped. These days, I only have a cheap on from Harbor Freight. Are there smaller nozzles for the one you have? Do you use a drying cartridge? Do you use a regulator? Compressed air, or canned gas?
There are small regulators that can be used close to the air brush, but you need a short hose to maintaining constant air pressure.
I used one on my paint gun over 50 years ago, and everyone laughed. Tese days, it is a common sight. Here are a couple small regulators:

I have a compressor with a regulator for the final feed to the airbrush. I'll look into those at Harbor Freight when I have time. Thank Brother SPC Michael Terrell .
