Personally, I don't know if I would use the word "enjoy" but I did appreciate it. Like many of us here, we find it to be a simple yet powerful way to remember and honor all our brothers and sisters-in-arms that are no longer here to hear it.

YES, i enjoy hearing it. But after serving i enjoy it with tears in my eyes, both happy to know and sad to have lost.

Do you/did you enjoy hearing TAPS played at the end of the day?

Yes I did. I lived in an apartment close enough to the base to hear it every night for a while.

That is hilarious that you posted this. I was whistling taps as I was looking at the feeds. Yes I miss hearing taps and al the other calls throughout the day.

Absolutely. I heard it all through military school and during my 20 in the AF- many times in the middle of the day or even more than twice. It's an honorable tune.
