ALL New Connections - Back by Popular Demand! I'm still receiving some great photos from all you RP Members. THANKS!
Keep them coming!
All you photogenic military personnel out there in RP Land let’s have a little photo session just to lighten it up today! Share the first photograph or the earliest photograph of yourself when you entered the military and tell us the date of the photo.
I'll start with Private Burroughs in 1975 at Fort Leonard Wood, MO & end with Colonel Mikel in 2005!

Will-do! :D Matter of fact I'm heading up to my old unit today to see if I can't get a picture of me in Colour guard doing my standard duties during the game. Or at our parade.

This above photo was taken at Fort Polk LA in February 1970 at BCT at the age of 23. I will post my photo while in the KTO during the first Gulf war below. I was 44 years old when the below photo was taken.

SFC William Farrell
SGT (Join to see) - You're a good man for a draftee Keith. lol Screw the ones who think you might be a phony. I was with three different units in Nam, 1st Signal Brigade, then 23rd Infantry Division and finally the 101st Airborne. For a short while I wore the 23rd as combat patch but when I wear my blues which I will to 911 in NYC, ill have on 101st. Its interesting in that I never saw another 1st Signal patch since I left Nam and then a few years ago, I go to Veterans Day observance at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery and about 20 guys in civies are wearing 1st Signal Brigade hats. I started talking with them and it turns out it was one NG or reserve unit that got activated from RI and went to Nam together with the 1st Sig.

Awesome SFC William Farrell. I don't see many Rakkasans anywhere. When I do, I talk to them. I have a good buddy I met in PTSD group that was 101st and 187th. He was with the Hamburger Hill group that took the hill. That's great you're going to the 911 Memorial. Do you go every anniversary?

SGT, I've gotten the same feedback about what a phony to have all the unit patches on a vest. 1st Infantry Div, 4th Armored Div, MACV, 1st Signal Brigade, 1st Army, 6th
Army and the 3d Infantry Division. I don't pay any attention, I know where I've been. Thank you for your service.
