All you photogenic military personnel out there in RP Land let’s have a little photo session just to lighten it up today! Share the first photograph or the earliest photograph of yourself when you entered the military and tell us the date of the photo.
I'll start with Private Burroughs in 1975 at Fort Leonard Wood, MO & end with Colonel Mikel in 2005!

I am and have always been a Civilian. The closest I've been to being a member of the Military is to 1) Become an Eagle Scout and 2) Become a Prison Instructor. Though it beats being an Absolute Civilian, I feel it puts me at the head of the Civilian Pack. Still, it does not qualify me unless the request is to post the best I have.

Actually, I agree. I am pleased with your response. Not everybody can be inducted into the Military. My vision kept me out of NOAA. Still, I shall carry on.
