ALL New Connections - Back by Popular Demand! I'm still receiving some great photos from all you RP Members. THANKS!

Keep them coming!

All you photogenic military personnel out there in RP Land let’s have a little photo session just to lighten it up today! Share the first photograph or the earliest photograph of yourself when you entered the military and tell us the date of the photo.

I'll start with Private Burroughs in 1975 at Fort Leonard Wood, MO & end with Colonel Mikel in 2005!

I am a Navy vet. I went through Boot camp at Great Lakes Training Center in 1969. Is there any way to purchase a copy of my graduation photo?

That's a good question PO3 Bill Estrem I personally don't know of any way, but you could request a copy of your military records and maybe there would be a photo from your first ID Card. I found one in my records going way back. Just a thought!

Enlisted in the Navy, October 2nd, 2012. Hall of Fame Division 802 (Eight Zero Two). Was the first all SEAL contract class and was sponsored by SEAL Team 8. Eventually went onto BUD/S Class 300. A lot has changed since then, but I still look good in the blues!

I've spent a lot of time at Fort McClellan, SGT Donna Farley, and still go there annually! On one visit, I was lucky enough to stay in the Pelham House (Place), although I don't think it was named that in 1977.
The story goes that MG Mary Clarke (the last commanding general of the WAC) would stay there rather than her big home on Buckner Circle so that she could be in close proximity to the WAC trainees. She was also one of the last CGs of Fort McClellan.

Maybe I submitted This one before.. This is a early one and by the new quarters ...
They didn’t seem as much like a home away from home.. Impersonable.. I surmise bricks mortar and steel beams has that effect on some people! This was just a few days before graduation. Our Parade was rained out by a deluge of rain and hail(and it cooled quite bit for that with Tornadoes to the North of us)..
