ALL New Connections - Back by Popular Demand! I'm still receiving some great photos from all you RP Members. THANKS!
Keep them coming!
All you photogenic military personnel out there in RP Land let’s have a little photo session just to lighten it up today! Share the first photograph or the earliest photograph of yourself when you entered the military and tell us the date of the photo.
I'll start with Private Burroughs in 1975 at Fort Leonard Wood, MO & end with Colonel Mikel in 2005!

Actually, my wife and I are displaced Hoosiers, born and raised in Owen County, Indiana. Went to school in Cloverdale and got my History degree and commission from Indiana University at Bloomington, Class of 1978! We moved down here to the beautiful Shawnee National Forest after retirement because it is so beautiful and there are so few people! We were stationed at Scott AFB in Belleville, Il twice and always loved the Shawnee National Forest. We still make it home to the farm in Indiana pretty office, but love it down here in the boonies!

COL Mikel J. Burroughs - thank you for your service as well. Being one of the first women trained in infantry/combat in the Army was a tough challenge but God had a purpose for it all. He new that the road my life was going was going to take the soldier training to see me through and to rely on Gods blessings each day that comes and goes.
