I had forgotten about this. A few years ago, while attending Central Virginia Community College I was asked to participate in a ceremony during a Veterans Day Flag Raising. CVCC just updated their Website and on their Veterans page the banner at the top of the page in my photo with two friends I went to school with. I am the center holding the flag. The link to the website - if you happen to be in this area and are considering college is centralvirginia.edu. Student Services, look for Veterans link.

I was actually in an Airborne unit, but I wanted one picture before I left with the scrambled eggs. My favorite award was the Jordanian Special Forces Airborne Wings. There were not too many of us with those.

I was on the 1st all female tugboat, loved getting my hands dirty. Still do work on my car, house now than have some big comp do it.

Right after my retirement ceremony 1 July 2009. I was honored to have my older brother Lt Col (Major at the time) Trent Klug be my retirement officer. Also in the photo on the far left is my younger brother Scott Klug (28yr High School Science Teacher).

General Hansford T. Johnson presents Defense Meritorious Service Medal to me about a year before I retired. Between those two events was DESERT SHIELD/DESERT STORM. Gen Johnson was Commander in Chief US Transportation Command.
