Let's have some great picture memorabilia!
I'm really going out on a limb here with this one. There were some really great photos of RP Members in their very first uniform picture. Thanks for sharing everyone who participated - that is still going by the way!
Picture of my Dad (PFC Don Burroughs, Korean War Veteran)
Now let's get some pictures of the last days in uniform posted!

How about one of the very first photos. Taken in October or November 1972. The three Musketeers in High School. We graduated and all went to a different branch of the service. We were all home for the first and last time between basic and our advanced training. I followed my father's foot steps and went into the Army, Jim Ashley who I'd know since the 3rd grade went into the Navy and Mike Robinson followed his father's foot steps and went into the Air Force. I was the only one to do 20+ years and retire from the military.

I really didn't get a last picture of me in uniform. I retired from my last duty station in Germany and took a 45 day terminal leave. I shipped all my uniforms home with house hold goods except my dress greens. I processed out of the Army at Ft. Carson and they said if you want to have your retirement ceremony be here Sept 1st. As I was not staying in the state I never had the opportunity to have a retirement ceremony. So never had a final picture in uniform.

I made one mistake....3rd Armored Division, not 3rd Infantry Division.
3ID was first overseas assignment from 1976 to 1979.
3AD was from 1982 to 1985 when the above picture was taken.

Unfortunately, there aren't many photos of me in uniform, especially near the end of my service. Yeah, we stretched the regs a bit on uniforms at times....
