I'm really going out on a limb here with this one. There were some really great photos of RP Members in their very first uniform picture. Thanks for sharing everyone who participated - that is still going by the way!

The only picture I ever had in uniform was my basic training picture. My unit only updated photos for those soldiers put in roles such as Soldier of the Year and other stuff. None of the regular joes had updated pictures. We used Basic Training pictures for all 5 of the guys we lost in Iraq, one a SGT, 3 were SPC, and the last a PFC.

Finally, it's probably not the last photo in uniform but it is one of the few. Taken circa 1972 at Ft Redleg outside of Heilbronn, West Germany. Not a posed picture, I am on the right in the photo. Telling my buddy "Moon" another BS story, which he undoubtably believed.

I still have a few pictures, but most of them (and the video/photo DVD) were destroyed in a house fire in October 2015.

I chose NOT to have someone telling standing up and say crap that they REALLY didn't mean. The standard,, blah blah blah just didn't work for me. How about a photo of something else? LOL Three young Airborne soldiers, 22 years BEFORE retirement...
