Let's have some great picture memorabilia!
I'm really going out on a limb here with this one. There were some really great photos of RP Members in their very first uniform picture. Thanks for sharing everyone who participated - that is still going by the way!
Picture of my Dad (PFC Don Burroughs, Korean War Veteran)
Now let's get some pictures of the last days in uniform posted!

Profile pic is last in uniform. USMC Ball Nov 97. Didn't ask for and would have declined any parade or ceremony because I would not want the Marines to have to go through all the practice and event just for me. Was already employed while on terminal leave. Drove in to base on a Sunday and picked up retirement orders from Staff Duty in civies on effective date. Always thought about it every time I attended a ceremony but when the time came I was just glad to have made it and moved on. USMC took good care of Family and myself and owed me nothing more. I did make entry in SDNCO Logbook "CWO3 McIntosh now ashore". Received end of service MSM in the mail a few months later. DFAS thanks me once a month and VA gives me all the healthcare that I can survive. Semper Fi Mac.

Thank you for your service! It was my privilege to serve and retire; no ceremonials needed either! Aim High; I'm Air Force. Thank you, Semper Fi Mac!

Thanks for the kind comments, Colonel. The old Brown Shoe Army was a bit different than what we have today but it got the job done! Thank you for your service and for your continuing to help unit those who have served in a fellowship that extends beyond our DD214s and Honorable Discharges.

Awesome post, Colonel. I'm surprised, though -- I didn't think the Army allowed beards and mustaches?
Unfortunately, I don't have a photo of my last time in uni. To my eternal regret.

SN Greg Wright that is a big "NO GO" on the beards only and they have very tight on mustaches. This picture was me retired for amost a year and finally receivng an award for my last Brigade Command - I wasn't going to shave off the grey for an award. By the way, it was on cruise ship.

My Last would be the Photo for the Cruise Book for my Last Westpac and the wonderful Project Outboard Crew that I worked with. I think there is a formal picture from the Cruise Book also with me in Full Dress Uniform with Medals (Only happened Once) and I think I gave that picture to my Youngest Nephew.
