Do you know what this card is and have you used it?

Proudly carried one in Germany 1990-92. In Schweinfurt, they skimped out during the week so they could do Surf and Turf lunch on Friday. The line went on forever. Steak and crab/lobster/shrimp for $1.90.

SFC Mark Merino - I went to the Chow Hall with a friend of mine from Alabama ( a former DJ on an R&B Station in BHM, AL) and we had steak. So, I whinny like a horse. I swear to God he pushed it away and said he wasn't going to eat Mr. Ed. ahahahah

Yes it sure does. That card was magic especially the eggs and bacon and a cup of coffee.

Yes, it sure does. We didn't need to show it since we were on a Nike Hercules site for a few years and knew each other, but it was used later in career when we went to a school or an actual post.

SSgt (Join to see), I use mine almost every day. It has green ink now instead of black. Other than that, it hasn't changed.

Most definitely. Had one from 73-76, stationed in Germany. Turned it in when I got seperate rations when promoted to Sergeant. Now thats a "Throw-back Post!"

Certainly, had one from 1972 until around 1975, when I was authorized separate rations. If you had one of these you probably remember the Army mess halls back then served Liver 3 times a week. Twice during lunch and once for dinner. And I loved the way the cooks made it. Grilled and smothered with onions

I was issued a meal card early in my career, and had to show it every time I signed into the mess hall for a meal.
