Yes I do believe Pres. Obama could have done just about anything he wanted. Just look at his support team, and you would realize he "COULD" do that. The question is, and still unanswered "DID HE"?? Personally I think the former President "COULD" be considered a traitor.

There are a lot of things that happen in the offices around Washington. A lot of individual political and personal agendas. IF, such an event happened, even if he didn't order it or have direct knowledge of it, he is ultimately responsible.

Its doubtful IMHO.

I would but nothing past Obama as long as he thought he'd benefit from it because the man is a sociopath, it's always going to be about him and getting his way.

It would be nearly impossible. If done legally, with a FISA warrant, there would be clear records for all to see, plus one or more US Attorneys would have been involved. If done illegally, without a warrant, too many people would know and would talk. As an attorney who has worked at NSA and with intelligence at the highest level in both Republican and Democratic administrations I do not believe that anyone in the Community would break their oath and be involved in such illegal activities. They would resign first.

He can not order someone to be wiretapped. That can only be done by a judge or judiciary committee. Did he ask for him to be that is possible but he has/had the power to order it just like any president does not have that powet.

Obama showed little regard for the Constitution or law in general as President and given how nasty some of actions were, I've come to the conclusion he'd have done so if nothing else to harm his opposition.

Really, then how did it turn out? Here, let me assist, they destroyed a career military man to tarnish Trump and hopefully take him down. Only half worked.

I think the world has gone crazy, and it's possible everybody is spying on everybody. I'm hoping all this malicious diatribe will end and we can again pursue being a country. Maybe that won't happen; maybe we're in for a rough ride. We've made it through other national crises in the past, and it would be nice if we were to do that again. Though I'll admit that this time attacks and counter-attacks seem to be never ending. Like bad fiction. Who wrote the story line to all the "carp" going on right now ... Stephen King?

Sp4 Byron Skinner NO, what could President Obama possibly gain from tapping Trumps communications? President Obama was termed out, President Obama wasn't really a strong supporter of HRC, there are still deep issues between the Clinton Family and Obama. I think the issue of honesty with both President Obama and President Trump is a mute augment at this point.
