Do you think President Obama could have ordered (covertly or overtly) wire-tapping of then President-Elect Trump?

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - I see a couple of people who have done more,to strip away the dignity and proper decorum of the office of PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES than anyone in my lifetime. In fact there were some extremely partisan assholes back in the 1800's. Not populists like Jackson but basically party hacks who in a relatively quiet and pathetically underhanded manner subverted the office into nothing more than a platform for their parties. A presidents job is to preside. A president is elected to lead the nation not to become an executive order issuer for his own or his parties agenda.
The president does not represent his voters. The act of writing..and willfully thumbing his nose at the other legislative branches is just one more way Former President Obama dishonored the office and by doing so lowered the standard which the United States must maintain to be a respected world leader. Allowing Hillary Clinton to run the State department like her own private power brokerage was just as,if not more irresponsible.

PO3 John Wagner - so tell us what you think about a president who has lied or distorted the truth over 10K so far. Who’s campaign had literally hundreds of contacts with Russians during the campaign and after. They may not have committed the crime of conspiracy, but by definition they did collude. A president who openly obstructed justice in at least 10 different scenarios. A president who is more concerned with making money for himself that running the country. A president who is violating the constitution daily , the 14th amendment. There is so much , but it would take days to explain it all. Those are obvious , do you support this?

The flipside is: An explosive New York Times report revealed Saturday that notorious war profiteer Erik Prince recruited former American and British spies to work with the right-wing group Project Veritas to infiltrate at least one Democratic congressional campaign and organizations "considered hostile" to President Donald Trump's agenda.

Who comes up with these wild ideas. Trump deserved to be wire-tapped. I am not even sure if he was. But he was/is so corrupt he should have been. He has now become Putin's best supporter while enriching himself and his family

I thought that this was site for military related issued and not political issues. I believe that this question should have NOT even been brought up for discussion.

The party of dirty tricks; they even stab their own in the back. Pay for play with the Clinton Foundation. And they are slamming Trump for foreign influence?

I come here and I look forward to discussions not involving the current political atmosphere. However, I must thank the media, I have less people on my Christmas card list because of vastly differing political opinions. There is no middle of the road discussions anymore, all opinions are either black or white and some people are deeply entrenched regarding their opinions. I for one would like to see people wait for the completion of the investigation(s) and stop delaying with political grandstanding.

I understand you don’t want politics, unfortunately that is impossible now. Think about this latest move by the current administration! Trump want to send troops to Saudi Arabia so long as they pay! He wants to use U.S. troops as paid mercenaries! I took my oath to protect the U.S. constitution was willing to die for our country! I was nit willing to become a paid mercenaries and die for another country. This is the most disgusting thing ever done to our military.

Assuming he did, where is evidence? The government leaks like a sieve. Where’s the anonymous source doing a tell all for Breitbart or Infowars?

I think it’s really sad that rally point has about this question to be put up. Just the way it’s worded is very political and disrespectful of a commander-in-chief I personally don’t believe that present Obama did anything wrong but above and beyond that I don’t believe rally point is the place to discuss this kind of possible criminal action it’s like saying put the president what is the assassination of a US citizen of course any President could do anything but one pie that he would is just wrong I hope rally point takes this type of thing off of this site
