I see the practice of using the few demographic indicators commonly shown, white..educated or not, whites male or female to be a SCREAMING indicator of the medias Left Wing white Ivy League RACIAL bias..used against ALL with huge effect. It has been something we mostly never question because with little change it has always been this way
I want to see what all races and inclinations think...everyone is automatically marginalized by these polling methods and it's subtle.
I see it as potentiallly the MOST divisive tactic used by any organization on earth..and we don't even see it.
If it were divided for my tastes I would want to know what adults over the age of twenty five perhaps...and under before I get called....of each race and inclination think. I know hundreds of people across all divisions yet I do not keep them in a mental file folder based on those traits...not my department.... When I tell you that truckers of my age and across the spectrum think that they would rather puke than elect low in the alphabet..the. You are getting a statistic you might be able to wrap a package with... OMO..
One more little factoid....any guesses on who talk show hosts take their data from? NUDGE!

The Progressive Movement which now dominates Democratic ideology as well as schools and colleges was founded on the principle that intellectuals are best equipped to govern. Thus the emphasis on college education as an important demographic in categorizing voters.

See how that's gone for us? When a college education and indeed secondary was still something founded in a few basic similarities including education in civics and common sense fundamental philosophical instruction then perhaps the arguements had more merit.. The common level of public education was quite low and rural environments as well as limitations in mass communication certainly lent some credibility to the proposition.. That is no longer the case.. We have reaped the whirlwind.. hopefully we can get the firestorm under control.

To me a demographic like that tells me the pollster wanted to get a result to support some claim that was probably invalid under any other demographic.

I would simply not pay any attention to his/her argument or conclusion.

I know this... however the subtlety of the games intent runs deep...
I Do want to know what educated individuals of other raises, sexes and orientations or any groups...not particularly educationally oriented...age is a far greater tale teller....
Old white women...and no doubt many other old women handed Donald Trump this election....the other old white woman should have sniffed her own hole first or she would have caught them on her back trail.
If mama ain't happy.....( I speak from experience)

Does anyone feel that the media's poll indicator of voter education "white less than college degree" is a leftist backhand?

I am a white male 54. I have raised a family in one home one town. I work in the oilfield areas with "everybody" you name it.. Whenever I see an election demographic posted as white(male or female) with/without college education....it not only looks like a slap to me but seems to imply in most cases..since no other races educational statistics ever are mentioned, that we are too assume several things by negative to all implication.. Unless you are white and college educated you are inferior. If since they list no other educational breakdown by race are they implying that it understood that no matter what others educational credits are that they are to be "judged?" Less than due to the INTENDED slight of educational distinction among whites? I haven't had any good answers to this but cannot imagine no one has noticed... So?

As an aside.. When I saw Trump as a business owner running for office I immediately said "Yes please". I don't know of any successful business owner who could possibly navigate through this world carrying the useless baggage of race, class, educational or lifestyle sensitivities along in their portfolio...."If your serve the masses you'll dine with the classes. If you serve the classes you'll go broke"

I am a white male that believes skilled crafted are still in demand. I was a electromechanical troubleshooter in a large tire factory. I was well paid and in cases made more than some people with degrees in other companys. If you listen to some people everyone needs that college degree. Many have them and can't get a good enough job to pay the loans of. I HAVE A GRANDSON with a Masters, he is in another field now.

No. Whites with a college degree and whites without a college degree have different voting patterns. So, this just allows pollsters (and the media) to more accurately tell the story of voter sentiment.

Accurately tell the story or create whatever fiction they would like to feed to those whose best shot at life can only be expressed by upvoting the crowd.. Sir?

Sure it is, when Trump spoke to african-american/blacks whatever the pc term is, democrats called Trump bigoted and racist for pointing out problems that a black demographic has, so as usual anything they can do to twist the knife into white dudes, eff em

Once again while you are certainly correct, I am still working towards people's notice that the pollsters biases are showing.. they rank as such.
1. White college educated .male then female.
2. EVERYBODY ELSE..
You see the point? There is an INCREDIBLY blatant bias to all , which is only a flat out advertisement of the pollsters opinions of an individuals worth.

SSG Ben Woart - When he talked about statistics, much like when he goes places and tell them there factories were sold and they were left with nothing, he paints a pretty picture you know.. He went to Chicago/chi-town with Ben Carson thoiugh, he was assured that he wouldn't be shot, haha

It's a demographic, like poverty or sexual orientation

SSG Jessica Bautista - really? I mean they actually sort out voter trends by credit score? I'd love to see that... I've got my bets on where it would trend too
