It is different. Instead of being able to skip things and find the answers online like we used to there is an interaction and your answers can affect the "story" it's trying to portray
It’s a lot better than SSD1 as it was well needed of an update. I just finished my Staff duty shift and I only have 1 out of 4 modules left.
DLC 1 is well structured in my opinion, the notes aren’t too long and it provides resources from ADPs, ARs, book references Etc. it’s pretty helpful. If you’re good at reading comprehension that’s a plus, you won’t have to take notes unless you really want or have to for memory.
I’m a big fan of the scenarios vs taking a test. It puts you in a virtual place of how you should respond with following feedback on why the answer was correct or not correct. Once you’re done with the scenario you move on to the next lesson.
DLC is not bad. Very well updated

Only problem(s) I’m National Guard and do not have access to the government websites from home, so I can only get them done on drill weekends or if I can get out to an armory on one of my (rare) days off. Also I’ve already gone through BLC so the next one I gotta do is DLC 2.

I understand. Have you tried uploading/downloading the military certificates to your personal laptop?
The certs that help in ways to access ako, etc. Those base websites from DOD.
I was able to access mine through my personal laptop going through ako on google chrome or internet explorer.

Well I can try and delete and redownload the certs but I’m using a MacBook Pro from like 2012. Getting ready to upgrade soon but not quite yet.SGT(P) Christopher Poole

Here is a link to a PDF that the NCO Leadership Center of Excellence has prepared regarding DLC.
