I have search on many different sites, and for the most part I find jobs that are generic postings that are old, scams, or minimal wage at best. The jobs that I feel I am qualified to do I am unable to do for all kinds of reasons. As anyone found any sites to be reliable and rewarding.

I'm with you here in Tucson, brother. We need to move. Unless you are able to speak fluent Spanish we are just out of luck. Tucson is listed as the 8th worst city in the US to seek employment.

I am looking for people able to work independently if you are looking for a career in the financial services/insurance career field. Management potential available as well.

My wife has been pushing me to go back to east coast where we are from, her parents have even offered us to stay at there house until we get back on our feet. What sucks is i laughed at kids i went to school with moved in with their parents after college and now i am doing the same thing. What sucks about Tucson is that it all minimum wage jobs.

I don't know if there is an office out where you are, but there is a head hunting firm called, The Lucas Group, that specializes in veterans

I have had luck on this site, but also I have received a large amount of job offers and daily updates of companies all over the world on linkedin.com
I will not bad talk this site, I am still relatively new to it and I have already seen results and options, but having used linkedin for 2 years it is also effective.

It seems that a lot of people are recommending Linkedin. I may have to create one.

Start with a Linkedin.com account. Make sure to add your Linkedin URL to your resume. As for job searching sites, I prefer Indeed, Careerbuilder, and Monster. You might try USAJobs, but I never had any luck on that site.

This site is definitely a good place to start. I'd then recommend Linked In and Twiitter. I'm on Linked In - look me up - I have about 5,000 connections. One of them is bound to bound to be in a position to say "yes"

If you have (or had in the last two years) a security clearance, I suggest clearancejobs.com

Clearancejobs was a bust, they were only offering minimum wage for the clearance I have.

Clearancejobs is better if you have a four year degree. But given today's job market, at least clearancejobs has jobs. And the best time to look for a job is when you have one. YMMV
