Does passing the Raven UAV course or logging a certain amount of hours qualify you for the Army Aviation Badge?

So I’ve been out for about a year now, so this is just a curiosity-type question. I went through the Raven UAV operator course about two years ago and there was a rumor that passing the course or logging a certain amount of hours qualifies you for the army aviation badge. Is this true, semi-true, or not at all?

UAV's don't count in the Army. You have to be an aviator.

CW2 (Join to see) technically he’s not asking if he qualifies for Aviator wings. He’s asking if he qualifies for Aviation wings. Which he could very well qualify for air-crewman wings. Which are Aviation wings.

Early on when the Army first began the UAV Operator program, new graduates of 15W school were indeed awarded actual Aviator (not Aviation) wings. I happened to see a PFC who was sporting Basic Aviator wings and asked him if he had the right badge on. He said that he was awarded them upon completion of 15W AIT. This was quickly stopped sometime later. But now, yes, everyone who completes a 15 Series AIT is awarded Aviation wings.

Not sure if this mattered at the time but I was an 11C who attended and passed the Raven school which was around three weeks or so.CW2 (Join to see)

The Air-Crew wings are for the 15 series MOS, and the large UAVs the Raven doesnt fall under this criteria.

UAS Operators (MOS 15C/W) which is your Shadow and Grey Eagle Operators would be qualified for the Army Aviation Badge. Personnel operating the Raven which are not 15 Series Soldiers are not authorized the badge.
