A little British Humor passed on to me from one of my Mentors! Take a few moments to watch the video! Click the link above.
Once you have seen this, you will be heading out to your car to see if it works. This is well done. A useful piece of knowledge, tempered with British humor. Might come in useful if you're being chased.
So much for the old saying, "You have water on the brain. The wavelength of the electronic key is limited to a certain distance. If you want to expand it, learn the useful trick by watching this video.

Neat video, but I don't plan on toting a jug of water around with to try it.

That's an interesting video COL Mikel J. Burroughs. I'd test the theory myself but unfortunately, my newest mode of transportation doesn't require a key fob. Or a key. Gets great fuel mileage but you gotta watch out for the exhaust... lol

LOL!!! Low carbon footprint but the "exhaust" can be dreadful. Many moons ago, at summer camp, there was a horse named Cochise. Which was the word for "Wind" in Apache (I believe). You can guess why... and also guess why no one wanted to be behind (pun not intended but works out splendidly) Cochise.

Imagine the confusion of those who don't watch this video when they see us walking around the parking lot holding our fobs against our heads

Like any good Airborne Combat Medic ... I keep it in my pocket!

My inner engineer can't help wondering if there might be some other part of my anatomy which would extend the range more than my head -- after all, any radio waves from my brain have to get through my thick skull before they can have any effect...

But I'm old-school, CMDCM John F. "Doc" Bradshaw! When my tongue sticks out, it's meant to be offending, not sexy.
