Eric Holder has, without a doubt, been one of the more criticized members of the current administration. Is there more to this than currently being reported or is it just time for him to go?
I'm including links from Fox and CNN to be fair here. Your thoughts?

Like a lot of POTUS close circle Holder didn't seem to grasp the big picture in his initial 3 years in office. He made some seious blunders that even after the fact were just ludicrous to begin with (can anyone say "fast and furious"?). I think history will be extremely cruel in it's assessment of his tenure.

Although there is always more than enough 'finger pointing' to go around; I would tend to agree with your assessment of how history will view his record.

Too bad the guy at the top of the pyramid doesn't follow suit, or at the very least, lead by example by doing it first,

Cabinets never, and I repeat never stay the same throughout an administration. He's been here for five years. It is someone else's turn. Same reason that Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State during President Obama's first term and now that position is held by John Kerry. President Bush had 3 Attorney Generals throughout his time in office, President Obama is just now getting his second. Not the droids you are looking for, he can go about his business, move along.
Edit: Wrote three instead of five. Brains are dumb.

This should have happened two days after he was sworn in! We have to have the news on here at work, the guys I work with dread anytime he is speaking or his name comes up, they actually try to shut it off before I notice, because I start having spasms and go into a prefect West Virginian tirade of my feelings and ideas about this ,,,,,,,,,,,,well lets just say, person. I say wrap him in duct tape and boot him over the Mexican border!

I think he would have been a decent AG if Fast and Furious was killed at the drawing board.

I see that in any administration there are polarizing members who, either due to their actions, or their history, or some other mannerism draw more criticism than others.
I don't know if Mr Holder is any worse, but his resignation either will draw more attention, or less, and is probably a political decision.

Sir, I agree with your overall assessment but believe that in this case, specifically, it will draw much more attention.

Why give him the honors of locking him up, he has broken laws like so many others and by locking him up we are only adding to the money already wasted on inmates, put an end to all these criminals living the life behind bars running unnecessary costs up to take care of them, a lot of criminals intentionally want to go back to prison because of how lax the system has become.I say thin them out, you killed someone you die, you molested someone you die. you were a corrupt anything who disregarded US law and caused the deaths of Innocent Americans, you die. Harder consequences will inevitably lead to fewer crimes which will lead to fewer prisons which will lead to less money being wasted and more money being spent towards getting this country back on track.
