Government spends millions to develop female specific clinic. How long should this clinic be exclusively for females?

Are you implying that ONLY female specific clinics can do this? Funny, the doctors office I go to can do them. The only reason to have a specific only, is so you don't have to sit in a waiting room with men while your waiting. Meanwhile, many more tax dollars pay for your privacy. Blacks are prone to several medical issues like Sickle cell disorder/anemia, should we create special clinics for them?

Very glad you asked Gunny! The VA Medical Center in Fayetteville NC spent millions in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds to make a clinic area specific for female veterans. It's premise included the ability to perform female specific exams in private. Also to keep females who were sexually assaulted segregated from males. But now the facility wants to move the general clinic population into the space and put females in the open clinics. I'm pissed!

Well, apparently I was missing something. From the way your question was posed, I thought that you were advocating that the clinic shouldn't remain "female only" --- sounds like the opposite is true.
