Has anyone filed a claim for sinusitis, rhinitis or asthma as a result of agent orange exposure?

Has anyone started or filed a claim based on the following:
On May 2021, VA started implementing provisions of the William M. Thornberry National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 (NDAA), added asthma, rhinitis and sinusitis (to include rhinosinusitis) on a presumptive basis based on particulate matter associated with exposure to Agent Orange during military service in Southwest Asia and certain other areas.
If so, any issues? I've already successfully filed a claim for cancer involving agent orange but also have these issues .

I got the same notification regarding particulate exposure in the gulf. I haven’t yet done anything with it. If you do file, I hope you’ll share your experience.

1SG Dan Capri - Will do brothers though mine is Viet Nam and I know it was the Gulf War issues that finally pushed them into including those conditions.

I was given 0% for sinusitis in my initial C&P in 1998. A few years back VA paid for a rhinoplasty procedure on the economy, that allowed me to breath easier through one nostril. If They're going to start paying a percentage for the condition, I'd be very interested in hearing updates to Your quest.

I am currently in the process of filing a claim for other issues (neuropathy, osteoporosis) related to exposure from Agent Orange. Ft McClellan’s water and soil was highly contaminated and the EPA was instrumental in closing it in 1999. There is a plethora of information on conditions caused by toxic exposure.

Thank you SPC Greene and good luck with yours. My agent orange cancer claim went through with no issues and VA was very cooperative through the procedure.

Its no evidence of agent orange at ft. McClellan but a lot of evidence of PCB. I,m a Fort Mac veteran as a Chemical Specialist. I spent my time in the Chemical School 1972 and later stationed in the same place on 62nd Chemical co. 2nd Chemical Battalion, go to FB page Fort McClellan Toxic Exposure. That what I'm doing. Goopd luck

I was stationed at McClellan 84-86 and I have the EPA report and the House Bill acknowledging PCS and radiation exposure on post. The water and soil were toxic and radiation levels on the ranges well exceeded the limit. At the end of Vietnam, all chemicals were moved to McClellan and some were actually used in CHEM School. SFC Dr. Jesus Garcia-Arce, Psy.D I am already at 100%; however, I am now experiencing conditions related to toxic exposure including cancer. None of my civilian specialists have been able to ascertain a cause for many of my recent (2018) medical conditions except toxic exposure. I will get you the number of the House Bill which mandated the VA to contact ALL soldiers who went through or were stationed on McClellan...no one contacted me!SFC Dr. Jesus Garcia-Arce, Psy.D
