Has anyone recently accepted a position with FBI or Border Patrol? Are they feveriously hiring to get in front of the terror tsunami?

My last OIC just took a position within the FBI. It took over 18 months for the hiring process, so I wouldn't say they are "feverously hiring".

The hiring process is very slow and drawn out now. Even civilian jobs can take weeks or months to get hired. My advice for anyone currently serving, stay in until the job market improves.
