No - His politicization of what is supposed to be a nonpolitical post destroyed his credibility. Warmest Regards, Sandy :)

I agree, his political party appointment, most likely influenced his lack of action. And in my opinion, with the evidence he presented to congress, he should have recommended the AG indict.

Cpl (Join to see) You nailed it. His was not to indite, but to recommend. The FBI agents might have asked more probing question.

1LT Sandy Annala agreed! Let me add that given the number of incidents of politicians believing that the law doesn't apply to them (going back to at least the 1970's) it's time that an independent prosecutor was appointed to oversee every case of suspected misconduct on the part of politicians.

It's a typical liberal practice, they always release damaging info at the end of the week when less people are tuned in.

Has Director Comey's release of the Clinton notes and emails before on the Friday night before Labor Day weekend hurt his credibility?

For credibilty to be hurt there has to be some credibility. He already had none.

It doesn't disturb me that politician's/government officials save bad news for Fridays. It does disturb me that American voters have such a short attention span that they find it difficult to e interested in something significant for more than 24 hours.
