Sir, I am proud that I started on the Space Shuttle program, three years before the first flight, and stayed until one month after the last Space Shuttle flight.

MAJ Ken Landgren - Sir, over my career, I worked many long hours to ensure that my work was accurate. When the program ended, I found out how hard it was to leave work that you love. Seeing the last Space Shuttle fight, Atlantis in July 2011 was bittersweet.

I have done and continue do things I'm proud of. I, along with some other Veterans, started a small non-profit here in Pittsburgh to support the nearly 50,000 Post 9/11 Veterans in the area. I serve as the Vice President of the board of directors for another nationally-based non-profit providing housing for homeless Veterans and grants to fund other projects across the country and I speak with employers on hiring Veterans and working with Veterans to help reduce the joblessness rate.
