As a 92Y, one of my tasks is to turn in stuff to DRMO (Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office). Is a warehouse full of all kind of items, medical to fitness. You would be surprised of all they have and you can buy from them here: http://www.govliquidation.com/

I'm glad it's you and not me. I'd be like a kid looking at a cookie jar! I've never done DRMO, but I got a M1 from DCM and it turned out to be fantastic!
When I was working as a professional guide in Idaho, many times I wanted an immersion heater - they can heat massive amounts of water fast - just watch out for the launch!!

SGT(P) (Join to see) - Personally, I bought some deuce-gear --mostly for camping/hiking. But, I had on old Maintenance Chief who bought repair parts for a lot of our equipment. After showing the CO the savings, he got to go on orders --kind of a paid vacation for that guy. There's a lot of cool stuff... if you like olive drab things, of course.

Capt Mark Strobl I enjoy fixing things, but sometimes is hard to find the time for it or the wife's approval to invest in something that needs to be fixed.

yes I bought some tents, and camping gear for my Sea Cadets it was a great buy. Had some friends buy some old truck and boats need some work buy again good buy

I have. I bought a 5ton cargo and a woodworking shaper. If you can take a trip to look at the item you are going to bid on. Read the fine details and know what you're purchasing. Usually anything that requires power on larger equipment is three-phase. If you're purchasing a vehicle read and understand how to obtain the title.

Depending on where you want to shop at there are various government liquidation sites all over. The auctions can be tough to win, however, you can find some decent items if you're patient and know what to look for
