I'm currently studying for the SIFT however I'd like to get in contact with a WO Pilot in order to conduct my interview as well as a letter of reccomendation. Are there any pilots out there willing to help out?

From my limited experience, I had to go to the airfield and track down some pilots who eventually led me to my "sponsor". I would try to have as much of the packet done before you ask for a LOR. The warrants I talked to wanted to see my packet, the other LORs, my flight physical and SIFT results before I could get an interview.
So I would just ask around at the nearest airfield and I promise you will find someone.
Hope this helps!

I'm at Bragg and was just picked up this last round for selection. Currently helping my buddy do his. All the answers above are correct. You can do the entirety of the packet besides your SIFT and physical and it will show the WO's that you're motivated. I would type up a descriptive bio, like one for a promotion board, beforehand (that's what I did). And bring that as well as your packet to Simmons Airfield. Hope this helps and message me if you have any questions.

From my experience (currently waiting to drop my packet) go to your airfield on base. Most warrant officers there are more than willing to lend a hand with packet process and SIFT studying, although there really is no way to study for the SIFT. Like the others have said, they will want to see your progress in your packet to make sure it's not just a "phase" in your career you are going through. They want serious candidates and competent potential pilots. The reason being, you are their next replacement.
