Col Joseph Lenertz
By working really hard to demonstrate a positive attitude while working your butt off. Try it for just a week, straight. Positive, can do-easy attitude, hard work at meeting and exceeding platoon sergeant's expectations. Then notice how your life just got better.

Great answer Col Joseph Lenertz . That's what this PFC needs. Some guidance from a senior officer, means a lot to a new trooper.

If you are at Gordon...some of your future PSGs might be reading this....AKA...me...

I hope you were at an internet café and left your profile logged and this is a prank your battle pulled on you... How many soldiers have your name...just saying, sunshine...

***UPDATE***
***His PSG was thrilled to find out about this. Fort Gordon has a phone book...Who Knew...*****

You know, Rallypoint is a social network for military people.

It is not however, a military website, or an extension of the armed forces.

If a PFC wants to ask a question, or ask for ADVICE, which is what he did, then he is entitled, to either: an answer, or advice, or silence.

He did nothing wrong. NOTHING wrong. Whatever his idea of being on someone's back, he can ask for advice about it.

Getting him into real problem because you simply felt like it was not just wrong, but abusive in my ASIST trained opinion.

This horse has been beaten well beyond death, so I have nothing to say here other than to offer you congratulations on earning this certificate. Well earned.

All I will say is that I guess it was good thing he wasn't suicidal and asking for advice. I could only imagine what the outcome of being reported to his PSG would have been. I am willing to bet that he will never return to this site.

"As far as the call, I would do it again." What ever happened to handling things at the lowest level? Does a SSG really need to go get dad to handle this. I am ashamed of your actions. We teach, not tattle.

Simple. Just say "Roger or Yes/No SGT", and move out!
