I'm waiting on a hearing waiver from the Army. How long does this process usually take and what are the chances of it being approved?

It depends on what happened. Medical waivers normally take longer. Administrative waivers may take a few months. The shortest waiver I have seen administratively was around 2 months. If you tell me what happened I can give you an idea of what the process includes.

You’ll probably need a suitability waiver. You’ll basically have the explain exactly what happened with your infraction. Depending on the reasoning behind it will determine your approval or denial. In my best guess with people in your similar situation I would say at least a month or two. Don’t quote me though. Jasmine Norris

Yeah they tried that one and had me thinking I was joining and than when I Drive an hour and half to the station they have me waiting till 6 to tell me I’m just doing medical. They couldn’t do the suitability waiver because I went to jail for 30 days... so they need me to pass medical and they will send it up... so I passed medical 4-24 and am currently waiting on the Waiver...

Medical waivers can take up to 1 year for approval or disapproval. Just check in with your recruiter every week to see if he heard something or not!

Be aware that if all requirements for medical waiver have been submitted depending on the circumstances it will take as long as the surgeon will make a decision. Keep in touch with your USAREC recruiter!!
