In my life there is a very short list of things that I will defend, among them are:
1: My God
2: The Constitution
3: My Country
4: My Family
5: My Guns
6: And the rights of some people to be stupid
How many of you feel the same?

Strongbow was stocked at the grad student bar at Rice. I was there for 7 years. So yea, I tried and tried and tried the good ol' strongbow!

Okay, so my list will be a little different. I don't defend my G-d because that's a good way to start a fight, or even a war.
Besides, He doesn't need my defending Him to a non believer. So long as I believe, I believe He is happy.
The Constitution, I feel, goes hand in hand with the Country. Also in there is the right to bear arms. And, while we all served we defended rights of people to be stupid, so that kind of goes without saying.
That being said, here's my list:
1. My Family - including home and everything in it
2. My Country
3. The rights given to all Americans as put down in the Constitution by our forefathers.

PO2 Kleeger, I disagree with #3 because the Constitution does NOT give any rights. The Constitution PROTECTS rights from infringement by the government.

I agree with you CPL Brown. I would add:
I will defend everyone's right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

I would have mentioned those, however, I believe they are mentioned somewhere in the Constitution so it would have been redundant.

Of Course Family, I was and am sworn to defend the Constitution, The President and those Officers Appointed Over Me (Of which there are none now). I would have to concur with the Beer Crowd since my Grandfather operated a BierGarten in St Louis and probably was a Prohibition Runner. But I tend to agree with the concept that all those Romantic Military Notions are BS. We fight and die to take care of each other, our shipmates. Mom, Applepie, Constitution, Flag is mostly Horsehockey.
