I EASed out of the Marine Corps 20170317. I am seriously considering joining the Army now. Any tips?

I only got out because of a messy divorce. Now that it's finally finalized, I still feel like I have more to offer.

Pro tip: go Airborne, whatever MOS you pick (as long as it's not something that doesn't have airborne like tankers).

Make sure you choose a career field that aligns with your desired post military career field. The recruiter will try to sell you on career fields that may be in high demand, but are useless to you in the long run. Don't settle for something with no civilian equivalent. It's a waste of your time. You have an opportunity in the Army to do a lot more schools and training than you did in the Corps, plus much more accessible access to tuition assistance. Make sure you use it.

Be of service. I'm sure the MEPS liaison will have a list of MOS's for me to chose from, but if all else fails I'd go back infantry if I had to.
