You vote who you think best represents your beliefs brother. I'd caution against getting attached to any candidate this early in the game. Walker was supposed to be some "rising anti-establishment" star, and he came down hard. At this point, everyone's listening to everyone else, and repeating the same message over and over, and not really giving any concrete solutions. Next year, that's going to have to change. Either bring your A game, or take your B game to the bench. There are still too many candidates out there and the field needs to thin. But Hillary needs to figure out is she hurting the dems rather than helping with her issues and last name, the repubs need to find out the same with Trump, Huckabee, Jindal, and possibly Bush. And Biden's still a dark horse for the Dems keeping his decision close to the vest.

TSgt Hunter Logan - I see what you mean. But some of these current candidates aren't helping their party by any means, and the field would be better served if they'd drop out and support or endorse another who can take the lead and make things happen. I also don't like the "wait and see" with Biden. Either drop in fully, or drop out completely. Some of these candidates have zero chance of doing anything and are really dragging their parties through the wringer.

I am curious; if you're the type of person who likes Marco Rubio, how are able to maintain a comfortable affiliation as a Democrat? Rubio has a pretty Conservative platform overall, and the types of people he'd attract from the Democratic Party are probably not happy with traditional Democratic platforms. Why not switch? What keeps you in the Democratic Party if Rubio is the kind of person you like?
For the record I'm not asking on an accusatory way; I'm genuinely curious. I used to be a Republican until I realized one day that I was only "hanging on" for a couple of reasons, and that on most things my perspective had shifted to the point where I felt more comfortable among the Democratic Party.
It's easy to change affiliation and if you're not comfortable, support a cause that won't make you feel like you have to compromise yourself.

I don't like any of the Democrats & Rubio is the only Republican that I could support.

Sgt Tom Cunnally, it sounds as if the Democrats left you rather than you leaving the Democrats. It is simple to change registration to have a vote in the primary. There is no limit on how many times you can switch.
Both Parties are a disappointment to the majority of the voters, so there is no reason to be loyal to Parties that don't represent your beliefs.

Capt Seid Waddell - I agree and will bet that if Marco Rubio has another bad night in the Republican Debate, he is history ..He doesn't do well under pressure and is easily thrown off his game plan. Maybe he is too thin-skinned..????

Sgt Tom Cunnally, I think Rubio just believes in his ideas passionately and just repeated them when they were attacked to emphasize their power. I don’t think he will be caught twice in that trap.

I stopped being a Republican when I saw all they wanted was my contributions and my vote, not my wishes. Still a conservative, and that means that I HAVE to vote for them mostly rather than continue with the Socialist agenda being brought forward so effectively by the Democrats. It is not uncommon for me to vote for selected Democrats on a state level. If our former Governor Bredesen where to run for President, it would create a dilemma for me, He was totally honest and kept his promises for eight years. That is not to say the R's don't have good candidates.

I became a Democrat when I was on active duty. Many of my Marine buddies were all Republicans but at that time I liked John F. Kennedy who was campaigning for President and I was very impressed with his performance in the debate vs Richard Nixon. Later I became a Reagan Democrat and supported his campaign and presidency.
