I need ideas! I'm taking Command soon of Banshee Company (tank), 1-37 AR, 2/1 AD at Ft. Bliss, and I learned the Soldiers really don't like the name. I have the opportunity to change it, but it has to be something unique because it must be different from any other "B" Company in III Corps. I need ideas! Thanks!

Badger... tough, smart, not afraid to fight above its weight.

Many years ago, I had a First Sergeant from Wisconsin, and when we re-flagged from E to B Battery, he insisted on "Badgers". It was unique, and I liked it.

Agree that Bulldog is overused in the Army for B Co. I have to think about this, see if I can find a historical one tied to 1st Armor.

OK so the 37th Armor broke through to relieve the 101st at Bastonge under General Crieghton Adams so why not borrow one from the 101st Airborne. "Bastongne Bastards" or "Bastards of Bastongne"

GySgt Stephen Anderson - was wondering if anyone would notice. I had a speal I used to spin as a joke when everyone was sitting around BSing doing the "my family" thing. I'd say I was descended from an old new England Indian tribe that had been assimilated into the European settlers called the Bohicans that shared everything and lived in peace until they just didn't exist any more. Then I'd go into the importance of the war cry and that I'd tell them what it was but it may be too rough for them to hear.. You know troops, gee SGT we can handle it, come on man tell us. Yup you guessed I'd yell out BOHICA! now get off your asses and get back to work.

Bandit. Bulldog. Beast. Bad Boys. Buttheads.

Sidebar: Good time to be going to 2/1 AD, now that they are no longer doing NIE and will become a fully deployable unit.

MAJ (Join to see) - Sir, not sure if it still is, but Bulldog was the old B co in the 62nd Engineers of 36th group at hood so that one may still be taken.

Googled some shit!
Photos are in order.
Balaur (Romanian) - Multi-headed dragon.

Baykok (Ojibwa) - Flying skeleton

Baobhan Sith (Celtic Mythology) - Beautiful vampiric seductresses who prey on young travelers
