You've got one chance to change one path not taken, one decision not made, one action not completed, etc. that may have altered your life. What would it be and why?

I would have remained married to my first wife. Looking back, I count our decision to divorce the biggest mistake I have made in my life.

You know what they say ... The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. Turns out the grass was pretty green right where I was. :-)

Honestly? I would have ignored my commander's encouragement to go OCS and I would have gone NCO.

We all have something in life we wish we had a do over . I would have joined the Army Rotc instead of the Navy Rotc . I would have started in the Army and stayed . or would I have been better to have just stayed in the Navy the whole time I spent in the military . Oh heck I will just have to accept just the way it happened . I had great friends went to many places , did not like things I had to do , but at times I loved what I had to do . It is hard to say good bye . That would be my do over is to never having to say Good Bye ever.

I would have signed my reenlistment papers in 1992, headed off to the Q-course shortly after, and stayed in the Army until they dragged me out kicking and screaming.

Reenlisting, I could have done something productive with the last eight years instead of stagnating in one dead end job after another.

Hey Sir, I may not be a straight up redneck, but I think this song is perfect for occasion. Cheers!
