To be clear, I'm not Anti Vax but I'm also not vaccinated. With all the immunizations and drugs the government has given us like anthrax, smallpox, doxycycline, mefloquine..etc. service members and Veterans are still concerned about the COVID-19 vaccine. Even after the FDA approved Pfizer, I was not planning on receiving the vaccine and would not have gotten it without being forced by the Military. Now that the pentagon mandated it, I obviously have no choice. I’m curious to hear other veteran/service members opinions are?

More than likely no. Had a bad experience back in the early 80's while serving in Germany. It seems that there was Swine Flu going around and it was mandated that all service members had to be inoculated. Essentially we were all marched to the Post Theater and given the shot. Everyone got sick for at least 3 days. You know it's bad when signs are posted asking if you're allergic to things like eggs.

Better question is there in enough people rejecting the mandate to mutiny against the upper command?

Nope, it isn’t a cure. You can still catch and spread it.

Thankfully i would have been at HYT had i made Chief when this went down…. I would have retired

Hell no! Thank God that I'm no longer in the military. I really can't say what I would if I would do if I was in and working tward retirement, but as a civilian I would Quit and find another job. It would be easier for me than some because I worked union construction all my life. We had a hiring hall and there were many job oppurtunitys out there. A job is not as imporntant as your health It should a personal choice and not be mandated.and I don't believe that the curent vacine is worth a damn. It should be a personl Choice and not be mandated.I don't care if people choose to get the shot and if they choose not to. It's their choice and not that wannabee dictator Biden.

It is funny how all the people that are pro mandatory vaccine. Talk all kinds of crap people that have a diffrent view point on the Vaccines. Then Blocks them. Yes a real example to set.
Yes a lot of people have died from COVID-19, How ever ther is no proof any of them work. In any way.
None of them stop people from getting COVID-19, Nor does any of the Vaccines stop a vaccinated from spreading the COVID-19. People die from every day from one disease or anther every day.
That does not give any the right to say that if you do not get vaccinated that they dont care about others. Or for people that have lost family or friends to COVID-19 to life choice makers for every one else.
I am not anti vaccination. Ther is just not enough proof that any of them will help.
Just look at past vaccination's military member's were forced to get then had long term helth problems.
Last time I looked the Constitution was still in effect.
I know that there are some of you out there that does not matter.
It does, If we as FREE AMERICAN'S let this forced taking of your personal freedom's.
It is just one more step to taking all of them.
It does not matter witch political party you belong to you all need to think for your self.

I am similar in that I am not Anti-Vax but have not gotten vaccine. I don't want to be a guinea pig. I got sick every single time I got flu shot and as civilian I haven't gotten flu shot and rarely get the flu. The mutations make it a game of playing whack a mole with these vaccines which considering they have a booster less than 9 months after vaccines started shows just how many moles there are to whack. I'd rather wait until this vaccine has been vetted and has longer than 2 years to show efficacy. I know many who have had severe complications from any of the currently available shots and I am very skeptical. Science is based in observation and I observe that at current risk outweighs the benefit. If I was in service or not I'd make the same choice.

I’m a bit older than some here, my SC health problems have had a chance to simmer a while, so I checked off three of their boxes related to “underlying conditions”. I got vaccinated as soon as it came out, seemed a no-brainer for me personally. I have a wife and son that I want to be with.
When I was in, motivations were different. I was there to do a job, and I needed to be a full up round. There were people who didn’t want to get the shots, we discharged them, their choice. If you can’t fight, in every sense of the word, then you have to go home. Civilians have the choice, and don’t “have” to get the shots.

Hi Master Chief, like you I followed the rules and got each every vaccine required. I was not one to question an order. Today we have a lot of wimps and persons who feel entitled. The reg says; but I have the right to question or refuse. This is an ongoing prime example of why our military and country are inadequate. I pray we don't have anymore conflicts with other nations and have to depend on our military. You are an example of what our leaders used to be. Have a great year.

Well, I hope you don't kill your kids, but I won't shed a tear if you get it and croak as you brought it on yourself.
