Edmonton is hosting Canada's equivalent to the Super Bowl tomorrow. It is called the Grey Cup. Check out this link.

That's a good one! Not sure why people make such a big fuss over "K".......if we would just ignore him, he would fade away. Golfing buddy of mine gives me grief because I still use Nike golf clubs......says I should burn them and buy a new set of some other brand because "K" did a commercial for Nike. I spent a lot on those clubs, and I'm not trashing them just because a jerk does a commercial. I asked him if he would trash his beloved truck if "K" came out in a Chevy commercial......he got a pained look on his face, and never answered the question. Why should we let one jerk have an impact on what we buy, or what we watch? That just gives him power over us. I agree with Mark.....never heard of her!

Grey Cup? I never realized it was actually a game. I thought it was an athletic supporter for older men.

Because while the CFL is entertaining for a while, ultimately, it isn’t football at the highest level. NFL washouts make careers in the CFL every year. But you’d be hard pressed to list CFL washouts who made a career in the NFL, let alone list those who do it every year.

The NFL Alumni club like Doug Flutie. Should they call the NFL Old-Timers Game?

Doug Flutie. Big fan. Always have been. He wasn’t a CFL washout. He was a good, young USFL, then NFL player, whose early NFL career was partly stonewalled due to his size, injuries, and the fact that he crossed the strike line and played as a scab in ‘87.

He went to the CFL, dominated for several years, and the returned to the NFL and put together an above average NFL career. Heck, he even converted a drop kick for an extra point in a game late in his career.

If I'm not mistaken, Warren Moon started out in the CFL before making the jump to the NFL. He had a pretty successful run as an NFL QB. The CFL isn't on a par with the NFL, but they do attract some decent players.

SSgt Gary Andrews - warren moon slaughtered the CFL for a few years before going to the NFL. He wasn’t a CFL washout.
Unfortunately, he went undrafted by the NFL out of college, partly due to the ‘black guys won’t be good pro quarterbacks’ myth of the time.
Again, you’d be hard pressed to list CFL washouts who made a career in the NFL, let alone list those who do it every year.
