If you could go back in time, what would you change with your military career?

Some of you have quite a few years in. Have you ever wondered what your career would be like if you would have gone with a different MOS? Maybe for enlisted, gone the route of Warrant Officer or Comissioned?
What is the biggest thing you wish you would have done differently and why?

I'd have joined sooner. I feel like I wasted a few years going down a different path that didn't make any progress towards any goals I ended up shooting for. Hell, instead of the Army, I might have joined the Navy.

Nothing... sorry... I believe in the back to the future movies... so one minor change, could ruin everything.

And Sir, while I respect that idea, I know, looking back, that there are any number of decisions I've made that were not the right decisions. I have some that I would definitely like to go back and fix. Other changes would be just part of the "if I knew then what I know now," lessons of experience - and I would still like to go back to "do better."
I would like to think that if I did more of the right things and less of the wrong that things would be at least as good as they are now.

I would have to agree with you, Col.. I would not change a bit. I had a great run as a Cavalry Scout, now I have a great family, a good job and quite frankly a very happy life. Every choice we made, being it right or wrong, has led us here to this very moment and that I would not change for anything in the world
