My grandfather, a n Army combat veteran who was drafted during WW2 & served Honorably throughout Belgium, Poland, and Nazi-occupied Germany until the end of the war. I wish I had the honor and privilege to have met my grandfather because from what I am told he was an extraordinary individual who immigrated from Sweden via Ellis Island in the 1917 and lived through both World wars/Korea/Vietnam, the Great Depression, the civil rights movement, and the Cuban missle crisis. I try to emulate the person I know he was and live by his example even if we never met

I would really like to meet George Washington.
He knew what a Democracy was, and as we all know was the first President, even though others wanted to name him a King. He knew a Monarchy or Autocracy was Not what this country should strive to become. He was a Visionary as a military leader, not afraid to take chances, but always had Honor in everything he did. Together, with many others, helped to create the Greatest Country in the world.

If I could meet anyone in history it would be George Washington.
George Washington is considered to be one of the most significant figures in American history. As the first President of the United States, he played a crucial role in shaping the country's foundation and guiding it through its early years.

If you are interested in American history, meeting George Washington would be an exciting experience. You could learn about his leadership style, his political beliefs, and his vision for the country. Additionally, you could ask him about his experiences during the Revolutionary War and his thoughts on the formation of the Constitution.

Meeting George Washington would also be an opportunity to gain insight into the values and principles that shaped the country in its early years. You could learn about his ideas on liberty, democracy, and the role of government in society.

Overall, meeting George Washington would be a unique and educational experience for anyone interested in American history and politics.

Many people in history did such remarkable things that I admire but I find it hard to really imagine myself wanting to meet someone from the distant past. I suppose I'm too attached to the present. Also, while a lot of the great innovators and leaders of the past have certainly inspired me, I can't really imagine myself spending a day with them without also imagining a lot of awkwardness and stiff conversation. So, I'll say John Pinette, a comedian with a love for food. I think he and I would have had fun together had some sort of "make-a-wish" scenario came about. He always made me laugh. I would have loved to meet him and take him out for a drink. Plus, I would have loved to encourage him about his health issues. While dragging him around all the best spots to eat in town, I would tease the hell out of em and twist his arm until he committed to 10 weeks of PT with me and my unit.

Depends. Can I meet them at their time in history, with modern stuff?

Then I am going for Adolf Hitler right around 1935. I'm going to bring a few textbooks with me, show him that it doesn't turn out all that great for him OR for Germany. Hopefully convince him to take a different road.

But under no circumstances am I leaving the textbooks so he can learn from them and improve Germany strategy (like not falling for the battlefield deception that allowed DDay to succeed, or learning just how early we decoded the Enigma machine).

If it is a "neutral site" meeting, then I am going with Siddhartha. I need more calm in my life, and dude is the absolute epitome.

I would love to meet Nikola Tesla. He had a singular intellect and all his ideas are needed if this country and the world are to continue to progress. For example, the induction motor, which was his first success in utilizing his idea of alternating current. There has to be so much more that he has discovered! His Tesla coil is used today in radio and was used in television sets. His biggest discovery proved that the Earth could be a conductor. Electricity could be had anywhere in the world. Imagine what his mind could do with regards to quantum computing!

I thought long about the numerous persons of history I would like to meet and narrowed it down to a single person, Jesus Christ of Bethlehem.
He fought wars without shedding blood, He loved without being loved in return, He gave His own life without expecting anything in return. He was a strong man, the only begotten Son of God who could of called legions of armies to conquer, but chose to endure suffering on our behalf, so that we could live, a soldier of everything mankind stands for and an example of how to change the world with love , kindness, and strength for us before, during, and after he sacrificed his own life that we could be saved.

I would have loved to have met Amelia Earhart. Even though she had never served in the military, she paved the way for future women pilots. She was so fearless, determined, independent and a free-spirit…qualities that I admire and can identify with myself. She was a woman who served as an inspiration and a role model to both men and women, even though she had met with a mysterious demise. She awakened the imagination, wonder, hope and a new world of travel for generations of mankind. As a controversial figure, Amelia invoked fear and envy in those who misunderstood her; yet, she continued to pursue her passion, her dreams and a higher calling into the skies. She was ahead of her time.

At my later stage in life I find that God is my father and I would like to meet Jesus. We all sin and that will keep us from gaining Heaven. Jesus died so that we could now confess our sins and gain Heaven. For his time on earth he spoke to us and his disciples on how to live a life that includes love for everyone. This has changed my life for the better. I am now satisfied with myself and my life and knowing at the toughest and best times of my life God is in charge. What a great and satisfying way to live; thanks to Jesus's teachings on earth.

Nichola Tesla is whom I'd love meet. He wanted to do so much for society that went against the greedy investors of the time that he died pennyless. Yet he gave us so much like radio, cell phones, TV and ac current. He was a true genius and had such a high number of patents and many were stolen. He was so incredibly smart that the FBI was standing by when he passed away that they confiscated all his belongings.

If I could meet anyone history, it would tie meet Jesus Christ. I would prefer to just watch him from a distance & not interfere with his works.
If I could ask questions to Jesus, I would ask him “if you knew what was going to happening to you, by the hands of those you love & care about, would you stay or go back to heaven?
I would want to be at the “Last Supper” in order to view the body language of Judas & just to see if Jesus saw it or if other disciples notice. Did anyone else know Jesus would be betrayed.

I feel that would be an experience for me.

Ronald Reagan. His presidency was marked by a number of accomplishments, including revitalizing the U.S. economy through a combination of tax cuts, deregulation, and increased defense spending, strengthening national defense and winning the Cold War, and promoting conservative values and individual freedom. He also appointed the first female Supreme Court Justice, Sandra Day O'Connor, and implemented policies to combat the spread of HIV/AIDS. Reagan's leadership and vision played a significant role in shaping modern American conservatism and his legacy continues to be felt today. He embodied the perfect traits of a leader.

The main person I would like to have met and will someday is Jesus Christ!! He is my/our everything, to have met Him as a man would have been awesome. To have heard His preaching's live and witness His ability to heal would have been breath taking. I mean, just imagine being able to look directly into His eyes. I think in doing so anyone would have been able to see His purity, goodness, kindness, and Holiness!! To me, there would be nothing better than this, that could possibly happen in my life!! He is the friend, the doctor, the teacher, etc... that everyone needs!!

Jesus of Nazareth would be the person who I would like to meet. In my opinion he has to be the most read about, the most studied, and the most influential person in history.

My very first memory of being in this world was hearing my mother playing the piano. I went into a corner, and I wept. At that moment, I knew I was destined to be a pianist. For that reason, I would give anything to meet Franz Liszt. I do not know if he was the greatest piano virtuoso that ever lived, but I do harbor this conviction that he was a phenomenal piano teacher. What a thrill it would be for me to take piano instruction from him!

I would have wanted to have met the famed soldier Audie Murphy. Murphy is the most decorated soldier in military history and gold standard for being a wartime hero. I recall my NCO promotion board and other awards were named after Murphy, which means he left an impact on the Army like no other.
