I found out that VA Disability chart has different pay chart for category of Veteran alone, W/ spouse, W/ children, etc...
If you get medboarded out as a single soldier then later (about a year after) gets married, can you add dependent for higher pay chart from the disability?

What good does this do? It's a pretty simple question and even easier answer. Yes he can ask a VA rep but he's getting out and hasn't even dealt with the VA yet. He asked a question, he didn't ask for a response that doesn't give him an answer. Why be a jerk?

That's a question best asked of a VSO (Veteran's Service Officer). The DAV, American Legion, VFW have VSO's, and many Counties employ Veteran's Representatives who perform as VSO's. At our VA Center, there is actually a VSO there.
All that said, I *THINK* I read somewhere that a spouse only gets benefits after they and the Veteran have been married for some period of time; but like I said, I only THINK I read that. Again, contact a VSO.

For VA disability yes by adding children and spouse and even your parents if they live with you. That can increase your disability comp payment received.
It won't change retirement pay though but you should be able to enroll them in tricare though.

Nedbiard and retirement are different than the VA Disability, which are you on? Your Famiky status can have bearing on your VA Benefit based on certain perimeters. Go to the websie a read up a bit, the charts are pretty clear and do address dependents and timing.

If you are rated 30% or higher from the VA you are entitled to additional compensation for your dependents. You are also entitled to travel pay to and from VA appointments. Log onto the VA website for instructions on how to fill out the paperwork

The question just made sense to me. No, if the Army wanted you to have a wife they would have issued you one

The VA rating has nothing to do with military pay, in fact they offset. You collect whichever is more. The VA does not provide medical care for dependents
