I would have paid more attention to what my dad had to say, instead of letting it go in one and out the other.

I would probably try harder in school and be more social, seize some opportunities that I passed up too.

Can't say as I would want some do-overs. There are certainly things that I give myself a self kick in the six for doing.....other things a self high five.....other things I question myself as to what I was thinking when I did it......but all of these actions and decisions has gotten me to where I am. It's that time paradox thing. If I went back to do even just one small do-over, then chances are everything after that changes. And I am happy where I am now.

I don't regret getting out. It was the right decision at the right time of my life. But had I thought about it at the time I probably would have went back in. I've said it before, if someone who had the authority called me today, I'd be in uniform again tomorrow (too old now, and a couple other minor medical disqualifiers from I was in).

One change, and one change only; I would not have gotten out. I would either still be pushing for 30, or 3 years retired at this point.

Not a thing. Right or wrong, the choices I've made are what have made me who I am today.
